swDesk's Help Desk Software Passes High Traffic Volume Testing

During the week of November 13, 2006, swDesk engineers conducted extensive testing to simulate high server demands and traffic volumes across several server platforms. The tests were conducted to gauge the ability of swDesk's Help Desk Software to perform well under high traffic scenarios. Recent improvements to database calls, database structure, and coding proved beneficial, as performance results were successful.

Important aspects of the testing were security and speed. swDesk performed extremely well and passed all security, cross platform, cross browser and performance tests. The series of tests were performed by seven engineers on three continents around the globe. More than fifty beta users participated in the tests, while custom bot scripts assisted in simulating substantial traffic loads.

swDesk is pleased with the results and has planned further testing for future releases of its Help Desk Software. Detailed results will soon be published on the swDesk Website.
